Nightstop London

This Nightstop scheme run by Depaul UK provides emergency accommodation in the homes of local volunteers for young people aged 16-25 from one night a week to several days or weeks at a time. Young people are referred from recognised agencies who are working with them to find a longer term solution to their housing need.

The scheme has volunteers across the London boroughs in which we operate and each volunteer provides a private bedroom, an evening meal, breakfast and washing facilities and toiletries. This can be for one night a week, for days at a time, for up to six weeks.  Volunteers receive expenses, rent and/or support costs which vary from case to case and the length of time they have the young person for.  The service is flexible and fits around the lifestyle of its volunteers.

Volunteers Needed

There is a constant need for more volunteers.   We are always looking for more volunteer hosts, drivers and adminstrators.  All of these roles are vital to the success of the scheme. If you think you could help, please download the relevant application pack below.  All posts are on a voluntary basis but expenses will be provided.  If you would like more information please contact us using the information below.
