Becoming a volunteer with Depaul UK will be a challenge but it will also be very rewarding. Whether you help in our offices doing administration or research, raise much needed funds to support Depaul UK's projects and services, act as a personal mentor to a young person or help out at our accommodation projects, you will know at the end of each day that your work has had a positive impact on somebody's life.

All you need is a little bit of time and a large amount of enthusiasm. You can commit to a one off event, an evening a week or even part time, whatever suits you.

Volunteers - North East Regional Office 

We are seeking volunteers to join our Admin Team based in Whitley Bay at the North East Regional Office. The purpose of this role is to assist the Administration staff with a wide range of administration and office support activities essential for the day to day running of a large regional office.  This is a voluntary position although all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

 

We’re seeking individuals to work as part of a fun and lively team who have the ability to follow instructions but also work autonomously.  A sense of humour would be an advantage!

   

We are looking for volunteers who have a good knowledge of office practices, who is IT literate and comfortable using MS Word and Excel to create/update documents as well as able to gain new skills and knowledge when faced with fresh challenges, with good communication skills and a helpful manner.

Volunteer - North East Regional Committee Member

 

We are seeking some additional members to join our North East Regional Committee in order to ensure that we have the appropriate strategic skills and range of expertise to offer support as a critical friend to our Regional Manager and staff teams.  The committee meets around 4 times per year with members taking part in time limited pieces of work as required and working on sub-groups identified within your skills base.  This is a voluntary position although all reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

 

Skills and Qualifications

We’re seeking individuals who are comfortable working strategically, are willing and able to integrate their role with Depaul UK into their existing networks and who can offer the valuable business and/or specialist expertise that will help us to grow.

Volunteer worker for Depaul UK Willesden Hostel, Willesden, London

Willesden Hostel is looking to recruit volunteers to assist project staff and service users in day to day activities including accompanying residents to appointments and assistance with structured learning units.

Any practical skills you can offer to Depaul service users such as DIY, teaching experience, cooking lessons would be very welcome
